The African elephant with its big ears. Made of M6 bolts. I painted lines of bolts in the ears without screw thread, so that when light shines on them, those lines stand out. The tusks, used for digging roots, are uniquely created. Interesting fact, the tusks are curved forward and continue to grow throughout the elephant's lifetime.
During my exhibition, the Elephant was named “The Friendly Elephant” because of the many photos taken of people standing next to each tusk.
The Elephant is part of The Big Five of Africa.
